Frequently Asked Questions

What do you mean by “family healthcare”?

We provide comprehensive GP care for all ages—from newborns to older adults—covering prevention, check-ups, vaccinations and ongoing condition management for the Bomaderry–Nowra community.

Do you see babies and children?

Yes. We offer child-friendly GP care, immunisations and developmental checks. Please bring your child’s NSW “Blue Book” to each visit so we can update growth, milestones and vaccines.

Which immunisations do you provide—and when are they due?

We follow the National Immunisation Program schedule (including catch-ups), with NSW schedule timing for children and adults. Ask our team if you’re due for a vaccine.

I’m 25–74. How often should I have cervical screening?

Most people with a cervix aged 25–74 are invited for a Cervical Screening Test every 5 years, with the option of self-collection—ask your GP what’s right for you.

What health checks do you offer in mid-life (40s–50s)?

Your GP may recommend a one-off 45–49 year health assessment to assess risk factors and plan prevention. We’ll advise based on your history.

What about older adults—do you do 75+ health assessments?

Yes. Eligible people aged 75+ can have a structured health assessment to review medical, physical, psychological and social needs and support independent living.

Do you help with chronic disease management and referrals?

If you live with a chronic condition, your GP can prepare a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan and refer you to allied health where suitable (generally up to five individual visits per calendar year).

How do I book an appointment?

Book online via our website or phone reception. New patients can complete registration online.

What are your fees—do you bulk bill?

We’re a mixed-billing practice. Some patients and services may be bulk billed; otherwise a gap fee can apply. Please ask reception for current fees.

When are you open?

We’re typically open Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–6:00 pm. Public holiday hours may differ—check before you visit.
